The best time to visit Manyara is during the dry season, from June to October, or the shorter dry season, from late December to early March. These periods offer the most favorable conditions for wildlife viewing and general travel convenience.During the long dry season (June to October), the weather is sunny and dry, making it easier to spot animals as they congregate around water sources. The vegetation is sparse, which improves visibility, and the roads are less muddy, ensuring smoother travel within the park. This is an excellent time for all travelers, especially those on a safari, as the wildlife is more concentrated and easier to observe. The shorter dry season (late December to early March) also provides good conditions. While there might be occasional short rains, these are typically brief and don't significantly impact game viewing. This period is particularly good for birdwatching, as migratory birds are present.
