We booked this property (and the additional house on the same property) for a weekend retreat for our college ministry and definitely would consider booking again. There was ample space for our large group and plenty of activities to keep us entertained on the property. If we were to book again, we would come more prepared with our own kitchen essentials as there were basic items completely missing and the overall quality of the items there (pots, pans, knives, etc.) was poor. Aside from that—we had an amazing stay and I would give this listing a 5/5 rating. Our host was incredibly helpful in providing information beforehand and the check-in/check-out process was smooth.

I have no complaints, we came on a very rainy weekend and even then we had a good stay. The host answered any messages almost instantly. We used the pool every day even in the rain. Spacious house for indoor activities bar and TVs everywhere. Sadly there was devastating floods around us but this property was set so high we were never in any danger. The grounds keeper was seen making rounds around the property very often but never intrusive. Thanks to Ann and if we can get the family back together this will be the #1 option

Team Building Men's trip

Our team-building retreat at the 10,000 Sq. Ft. Lux Estate was an absolute triumph! As a group of 25 men from J&L Backhoe Company, we were looking for a place to unwind, connect, and build stronger bonds—and this property delivered in spades.The amazing pool and spa were a hit, providing endless relaxation and fun. The basketball courts saw some intense but friendly competition, and the kayaking and pontoon boat trips on the lake were a fantastic way to explore the beautiful surroundings. Evenings were filled with laughter and camaraderie during our game nights. The spacious home was perfect for gathering, whether we were enjoying meals together, holding team meetings, or just hanging out. The beautiful grounds offered a serene backdrop to it all.The estate provided everything we needed and more, fostering an environment where our team could truly connect and recharge. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and with stronger bonds that will undoubtedly enhance our work together. Highly recommended for any large group looking for a memorable and productive getaway!

We had about 35-40 people in our group and it was difficult to find a location that would fit all of our needs. The host was very flexible and very easy to communicate at any point in the day. The location was absolutely beautiful and we wish we could’ve attended to all the activities. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a big group getaway.

Our stay at this Vrbo was everything we hoped for and more! We brought a group of college students here for our Young Life spring break trip, and it could not have been a better fit. The space was perfect—plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably, great common areas for us to hang out, and a well-stocked kitchen that made cooking for a big group easy.One of the best things about this place was how it brought our students together. Whether we were eating meals, playing games, or just sitting around talking, it created the kind of environment where real connections happened. The outdoor space was a huge win, giving us room for games, late-night conversations, and just enjoying being away from campus for a bit.The hosts were great—responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had all the little details that make a difference.Overall, this Vrbo gave our group exactly what we were looking for: a memorable experience, a place to rest and recharge, and a home base for an incredible week. We’d absolutely book here again!

Great property for a corporate retreat

The nonprofit I work for held its annual team retreat at this property. The host was very communicative and helpful, the house and guest house were large enough for our team, and the space was clean upon arrival. From the pool to provided outdoor games and activities, there was plenty to do. I highly recommend this home for other teams or large families.

Great Stay

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful time at Cimmeron Ranch. It is very remote from the road and we truly felt privacy as a family. The spaces were amazing, the views from the porches were just gorgeous. The pool area was so beautiful and the diving board was a hit. We spent a lot of time there because of the July heat!! The beds were comfortable and clean . The only complaints I had were in regards to the many appliances that were not working and I felt the kitchen needed attention.. the “fully stocked” kitchen needed to be replenished with baking pans, supplies that serving 40 people demands. The appliances are outdated and need to be replaced.. as many do not work(ice machines, etc) The house was not as clean as it should have been for the money we paid in services. That being said … everyone loved the property. Juan was so helpful with trash and repairing the disposal. The house and property are amazing. ! Thanks Ann and Juan

Loved this property for our large group!

We had a large group of 40, and this place was perfect for us. The property itself was gorgeous with plenty of activities. The house was clean and well taken care of. The owner and the property manager were both very responsive to minor issues. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The spa heated very quickly. The only downside was that the pool looked a little dirty, but that may have been from bad weather in the days leading up to our stay. Would definitely recommend this property for other large groups.

Eclipse gathering

I am so grateful our group of 45 had such a beautiful home and property to settle into to enjoy the eclipse. Ann was very generous, her communication prompt and she saw that we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The location on the hill top was divine and the storm watching was an added bonus! I highly recommend the Cimarron Ranch to large groups looking for a place to gather, celebrate and relax. Thank you!

Exceeded Expectations

We experienced one of the best weekends of our lives here! The house/ranch/views were unforgettable and beautiful. The place was comfy, clean, and so nice! There were a few things about the house that were confusing (turning on lights outside, turning on the hot tub, turning on one of the showers, clogged drain, etc) but Juan, the maintenance man, responded to my text/calls immediately and usually, he came to the property right away to direct me! The host, Ann, and Juan were extremely responsive, welcoming, sweet, and excitable! All 37 of us who stayed on the property discussed coming back yearly if our schedules allow us. The weekend was perfect and part of that was the stay! The only thing I'd be aware of is finding the property. The address doesn't show up if you type it naturally into google maps or waze. Ann had the solution though, she sent me the google link to the address and that brought us to the correct place. Ann went above and beyond to help us find shuttles for our guests, answer all of my questions thoroughly, and was so sweet throughout all of it! YOU SHOULD STAY HERE! :)
