This 2,200 square foot house sleeps eight, with one king bed, two queens, a sleeper sofa and 2.5 bathrooms. It also comes with a two-car garage. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, just a short drive from beaches, shopping and other island attractions. The spacious lanai overlooks converging waterways, giving you a postcard-worthy view of palm trees reflecting off the still surface of the water. Go down to your own private dock and get acquainted with your new neighbors the seabirds and the jumping fish. You won’t be sitting there long before you spot a passing dolphin or manatee. The centerpiece of the lanai is a spacious heated pool. The rear southern exposure means the pool gets a full day’s worth of sun. The kids will never want to come in and they won’t have to since you’ve got a gas grill to barbeque up a poolside lunch. Exquisite furnishings perfectly complement the serene waterway outside. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the space with natural light. The dining room table looks out French windows to the lush garden outside. Baskets of plants atop the counters adorn a striking modern kitchen that’s as functional as it is stylish, with all the appliances you need to prepare everything from a sit-down family dinner to cocktails to sip on the lanai as the sun goes down. The layout was perfect for us with the master bed/bath being on the opposite end of the house from the other 2 bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked for eating in. It has a lovely screened in pool/patio that faces south along a canal. The neighborhood is quiet and Mackle Park was just 2 blocks away where there is a walking path around the lake and a nice playground. There is also a community center there which I would definitely check out more if we had more time. It’s about a 1 mile walk to the beautiful beach. Check-in and checkout were a breeze. The kitchen was very well stocked and the pool was nice, but was very cold in the evenings. The owner remedied this, by leaving the heater on for more hours. The master bathroom and bedroom has some issues and we discussed with the owners and property managers. Marco Island as a whole was amazing, and the sunsets are beautiful at the beach. The WiFi was not good at all. This house worked out great for our family. A couple of issues came up and the management company was very friendly and responsive. We could watch the sun rise and set from the lanai. Its a short walk to Markle Park and its many activities for all ages. The kids spent all their time in the pool, which was great for us parents. The home was close to Markle Park which had shuffleboard, bocce , and basketball courts.
