“Check-in was easy, the caretaker was right there to hand over the key, and gave us a brief history of the plantation, which has been around since the 1820s! The air conditioning worked very well and that's a blessing since we visited in August. Husband and I explored and walked the property more than once, trying to imagine it in its different eras. My only issue was the breakfast sandwich in the freezer, which was a solid block of ice. Maybe, put the sandwiches in the freezer the day before……

“Excellent hotel. My room was somewhat clean until I went in the restroom to find that my toilet wasn't cleaned. It had hair and poo on the toilet seat. Took a shower and the water didn't drain properly. My ankles were covered in water. The floor had leftover hair on it.”

“Family move to another room. Toilet in 404 constantly running. However room 306 was perfect. I went to move my stuff from 404 and fix the toilet flapper so ur water bill wouldn’t be high because no maintenance personnel was available to stop water from running all night”

“The 2nd elevator has been broken for MONTHS plus some more MONTHS Front desk staff super nice Hallway smells damp and moldy Room meh… Staff a male staff (white young mid weight) was waiting for the 1 elevator he had broom dustpan and his phone he was watching something on his phone elevator finally came to take us up he almost ran over gentleman getting off elevator and didn’t hold the door for myself or other guest, he didn’t ask what floor I was going to I had to tell him which floor to press……

“This place served its purpose for us during our stay in alexandria. It was centrally located to all the things we wanted to do.However,The layout of the apartment is rather odd. The bathroom is in the kitchen. And despite 3 large "no smoking" signs, the interior smelled strongly of cigarettes. 1 star for the colony of cats outside.”

“This unit was perfect for my stay in Alexandria. I was visiting my Dad in the hospital nearby and this unit had everything I needed. It rained while I was there and that made this unit a bright spot to land each day. The washer/dryer were perfect for the small loads I needed during my stay. I am very pleased and will stay here again.”

“Unit is in need of repairs and updates. Kitchen sink faucet falling off. Dryer does not work, lack of eating utensils, bathroom tub just worn out. Kitchen drawers barely open. We had gun shots outside the unit the first night we were there.”

“Day one the refrigerator don’t work, day two the washer flooded the bathroom/bedroom floor. The landlord said he sent someone by, I don’t risk trying to use the washer again so I’m not sure he ever showed up. I asked for more towels and he said I would have to put the ones I had in a trash bag outside to get new ones. I never did, I just dried them and used them. I also think the landlord uses AI to manage the property. Responses seem computer generated. Area is not great either. ”
