From the moment we arrived the staff was perfectly attentive and also deferential as we needed. They gifted us with sweets and tea. Abdul, the chef, prepared the best meals we ate in Marrakech. Our room was comfortable and the treatments in the hammem were amazing. The staff made it for me, they actually are the best! The food served in the riad restaurant is amazing too, the best veggie tajine and couscous ever and delicious breakfast! so lovely. The riad istelf is stunning, in such a perfect location- close to everything but not in the direct hussle and bussle. Het riad ligt iets ten zuiden van de Medina maar het centrum is erg makkelijk en snel te bereiken. De sfeer in deze omgeving is relaxed en er zijn minder opdringerige verkopers. Onze kamer lag aan een drukke straat maar dit was niet storend en daardoor viel er ook veel te zien! Food was delicious and we had a great room with even our own private inner balcony. Only point is that the offered parking is on the street which is very busy and there was not a lot of space to park; they parked for us and made a minimal scratch on the bumper of the rented car. You can get a taxi right to the front door and the walk to the centre of town is just a few minutes along a nice shop filled alley (i.e. feels safe). Breakfast was the usual pancakes with honey and jam. They have their own tour company too if you want to book excursions then at least you don't have to brave the souks. There was no pressure to however. The only advice I would give is that if you travel in winter, it is pretty cold and the heating was not really able to cope. Fine for me as I have a cold house too. Also if you have a room onto the street you get a window or french door to a balcony, which is nice, but expect the usual traffic. Um único contratempo foi que a gerência disse que eu teria que pagar pelas camas dos meus filhos, coisa que nunca aconteceu comigo, pois sempre que vviajo e já viajei o mundo todo, as camas estão incluídas na hospedagem, a menos que você utilize camas extras que não foi o nosso caso. Really close to some tourist attraction and about 3 blocks away from the main square. Staff is very helpful and the place is comfy, nice and peaceful. I like that they offered Moroccan tea when we arrived. This is the first place i stayed when I arrived in Marrakech, and I fell in love immediately. After a month traveling around the country, I’m back again and it’s still my favorite. Elegant architecture and lush decor, from the moment you step inside the door down to the tiniest details in the room. The staff is friendly and cares for my every need. I ate dinner here almost every night because the food is so delicious! I was able to work online with ease because every room has its own WiFi router and a fast connection. There’s so much to like about this place, but above all, the people who work here are stellar. I almost don’t want to tell anyone about this gem, but it would be wrong to keep it to myself!
