Good and bad
Good and bad....the hotel was overbooked for the first night of our 3 night stay. We had to stay elsewhere for the first night. Upon our return, the staff offered to do our laundry for free to compensate us. They ended up charging us on checkout. After checkout, I contacted the staff on whatsapp asking for an email documenting the cost of transportation to El Jadida that they had organized for me. Despite the staff receiving this message, I heard nothing back. The riad also did not respond to hotels.com when they tried to verify that there was an overbooking so I could be refunded. This caused a big delay in getting a refund.
The riad is clean and in a great location. Our room was very nice. The staff, while we were there, were excellent. Unfortunately, the staffs' lovely attitude seemed to disappear as soon as we have left their establishment.
