“The property was beautiful! The room was really nice! The customer service and all employees were kind and extremely helpful! I was unaware it was so secluded! Required a boat ride to and from the main Caye Caulker area, that was exhausting and limiting on timing. Although they provided transportation back and forth, it would have been better to know ahead of time you are on your own private island area. “What a beautiful country and one of the most hospitable people you’ll ever meet. El Ben Cabañas is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. Coming to a country for the first time can be so intimidating but they have made it so seamless and wonderful. They are located in the North side of Caye Caulker where it is more quiet, I couldn’t have picked a better spot to have a relaxed time. “This hotel is old and needs updated. Nothing like the pictures in the photo . No elevators and stairs are not manageable especially after a long day of walking around the island. You have to ask for everything including towels. The rooms are dark and cold. No view except to a dirty yard space between buildings. If you are just using it to sleep then this is the hotel for you. It does not feeling like a vacation room on the cayes. Not worth the cost. Very disappointed will never stay here again.……
