"Lovely house, garden and locality. Access to the beach was easier to walk to the end of the road and down the hill. Split your recycling and put in bags, saves the rubbish collectors opening all your bags to separate it!! The house is nice, plenty of room to have your own space. (There was 10 of us and a dog). It’s well equipped for cooking, condiments, washing up liquid, tea towels etc. The house could do with a bit of TLC as could the decking area, (fence and some of the chairs). Garden...

"Family of 5 adults normally presents a challenge to accommodate comfortably for a holiday, but not in this case. Prospect Cottage is a lovely family home packed with all the amenities that a family needs. Only a few minutes walk away from the magical Mevagissey harbour and an array of bars, cafes and chip shops! We had a magnificent stay and would recommend to anyone."

"A fantastically quiet property tucked away down narrow Cornish lanes. Spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen, our stay could not have been more comfortable. Spacious living area allowed both of us to spread out, whether it was a lazy morning with a book, or an evening with a film on the TV. Communications with the owner could not have been quicker or more helpful. Our only regret? no space to rebook for next year 😕"

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The property has everything you could need for a lovely stay by the sea, with the most comfortable lounger ever! We happily spent hours just laying on the lounger looking out at the sea. There were lots of lovely welcoming touches such as bread and milk left, a cream tea and fresh flowers, which made us feel especially welcome. It was a bonus to have an outside area and table and chairs. We can't wait to book again!"

"We loved our trip to St Ives. The cottage was great for us, as a family of 3. I appreciated the location; on the outskirts of the centre, so you're close to everything but not sureounded by tourists all the time. The cottage is small, but enough space for the three of us and lovely to have some outside space to use. "A quiet, relaxing place to stay with a fabulous view over Carbis Bay. Be prepared for the challenging up and downs of the paths at first… however after a few days it was a real pleasure to walk into St Ives and back and Carbis Bay and back. Would stay again. "

Thÿs and Diana were very welcoming and informative about the local area and provided a generous welcome pack of refreshments after the long drive to Falmouth. Hugely appreciated. Buzzard's Rest was peaceful but also conveniently close to the town centre and Falmouth's beaches, either by car or by foot (15 minute walk). Hope to visit again."

"Our railway carriage was set in a secluded part of a two acre setting, bordered by a wood and well tended gardens. The carriage itself provided the double bedroom and compact but well appointed kitchen, with an extension providing a spacious lounge, storage and bathroom. It was perfect for the two of us with a short walk to a lovely pub/restaurant and as a base to explore the beautiful surroundings. The owners were helpful and friendly."

"Convenient to the beach. The hotel room was overlooking the sea, which was beautiful. The furnishings were a little tired. Finding a spot to park was difficult even though they said parking was available, they never explained exactly where it was located which was in the back across a busy road and a very small, tight garage that was difficult to park in, very tight space. Initially the staff did not explain where to park and i had to drive around a one way system 4 times to finally see...
