“This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! ”

“The privacy was a huge plus. Three bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Customizable air-conditioning in every space. The surrounding amenities and basically being on a golf course made for a relaxing holiday feel. A local pub at the gate had some interesting characters and friendly locals. The utensils and fully pimped out kitchen meant it was easy to make food and snacks. The daily cleanup service was awesome. All in all, a very clean and relaxing place!”

“We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there……
