“location wise, It's not exactly at the waterfront area, however, it's still well connect with the most pleasant area in Cape Town. I think the complimentary shuttle boat make the difference. My Bose earphones were stolen from my room, and they were not left out in the open — they were buried inside my fanny pack, which was inside my duffel bag. “This is probably the worst hotel I have stayed in over the past ten years. I booked a two-bedroom apartment. On the first day of check-in, neither of the two rooms had been cleaned. Both beds had very obvious yellow stains, and one of the beds had not even been made at all. The Wi-Fi did not work. “We were very happy with our stay at the Commodore and would recommend it highly. Before our stay, I was concerned about location, but it’s a very easy walk and safe walk to the V&A waterfront. The actual dining room while we were there was closed for a few days as they did some work on it, but the outdoor dining area was opened as was the bar area so I think they handled that situation very well. Man hat sich jederzeit sicher gefühlt – das Tor wird abends geschlossen, und man kann mit einem eigenen Code hineingehen. Außerdem ist rund um die Uhr ein Wachmann vor Ort.
