“Saleh the owner is a tremendous host. Nothing is too much trouble. I have nothing but respect for him and how he helps his community. The house is in a quiet street, perfect for the airport. Most folks stay for a night on the way home or before they move on. However I stayed for five nights and had a splendid time.”

If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife ”

“I absolutely loved this hotel. The location was perfect, it was in the heart of stone town. Felt very safe, also felt like you were living like a local. The room was very spacious. The food was great. Breakfast had many options & the food from the restaurant was a 10/10. There’s also many things to do in the area such as shop, museums or even restaurants. ”
