Room was not ready early when we first got there. No problem, went for ice cream nearby. Still not ready at 3:30 when we got back, but they then upgraded us to a golf course view. Nice room!! Location is remote, but appears to have a restaurant inside the hotel.

Stuck in time resort with zero maintenance and antiquated equipment. If getting into your room with the issued room key or having working internet is important, don't stay at Massanutten. Room smelled bad, the bathroom fan is so loud and clunky and is one with the light so you just end up leaving the light and fan off. Carpet was old and ratty; the TV has only local channels and a 'DVD player' - thats how old the infrastructure is. Front desk issues you a key and then warns you that the keys are fussy and sometimes dont work. Great, after you drive another 10 miles (literally) to your room, only to find your door doesnt open. No hotel staff are there to help, no phone is there to call for service. Finally got in the room and its paper thin walls, slamming of doors, and kids running up and down the halls. No elevator for upper floors, these are repurposed condos from the 60's. But dont worry, they charge full price. This place has given up on customer satisfaction and on top of all that they charge $5.00 for cheap bottled water. Get ready for disappointment.

Nice place to stay. I will again. When I got to my room, there wasn't any towels. It was taken care of immediately and I got a complementary breakfast out it which was also fantastic. Thanks Blackburn. See you again

Everyone we met on staff were very helpful. This would be a lovely place for a family reunion or a private retreat. Our kids were camping about 5 miles away and we were able to enjoy both their campground and our comfortable setting.
