We arrived late but the staff was still accomodating. The staff were helpful and answered all our questions. However, when we arrived there was a dirty wash cloth still hanging in the bathroom and it looks like it’s been there a while. There were still hair on the carpet. It was hard to determine the temperature of the water in the shower because there was no label on the knob and it only ran hot water. I was sent an email by the property manager that they offer an “intercontinental breakfast”, I had high hopes but most of the food were processed.

Room and hotel is fine. The bar isn’t that good and there was a huge roach running around. Not sure I’d stay again. I think I’m a person who prefers smaller boutique hotels.

Building seems slightly older than pictures show. Not bad though for the price- the AC and room electronics worked fine with many tv channels. Location is good to be close to airport and convenient to downtown for sight seeing.

The present name which is “Dooley’s Den ‘The Depot’” is a reference to the Spirit of Emory - do a Google search for information on Dooley - and the building presently serves coffee. For some time in the 70’s and into the ‘80s the building was actually the location of the Emory Credit Union.
