We had an amazing experience at Hotel MEO Design Suites & Spa! The hotel was absolutely wonderful — modern, clean, and beautifully updated. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the downtown core, close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. A special mention goes to Chiara and Giogia, who made our stay truly exceptional. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They gave us a thorough tour of the hotel and our room, shared great recommendations for exploring the city, and even helped us prepare for our hike up Mount Etna. Excellent location - right in the heart of historic center - with a breathtaking view. Our room was very modern and clean. Staff is excellent - big thanks to Giorgia, Chiara and Marlena for making our stay very enjoyable!! One word of advice to those travelling by car, make sure you know where to park when you arrive at this hotel. If you call them ahead time, it will save you a lot of headache.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center with access to a variety of restaurants and shops. The main square is very lively and ideal for an evening stroll. What can I say about the staff? They were AMAZING! Always professional, very friendly and eager to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. We booked tours directly with them and they provided good recommendations for dinning and shopping. The hotel is very clean and the room we booked was pretty spacious. There are no in-property dining options or any other amenities for that matter. A light breakfast option would be a nice addition so you can get your day started without having to rush out. For its location and friendly staff, we would definitely stay here again.

The property looks modern and chic, but the setup is unusual. It’s a renovated floor in an old heritage building, with rooms and balconies opening onto a central concourse that’s shared with a restaurant kitchen and other units. Rooms are stylish, though finishes felt rushed (our toilet flusher cover popped off and the shower leaked water onto the floor). The hallways are concrete and echo every sound, and the main elevator is hidden behind trash bins by the kitchen. On the plus side, the location is great for walking to restaurants, and free spa access was a nice perk, though the open glass door didn’t feel very private. Overall, not a bad stay, just a few quirks to be aware of.

This is a hostel. They built rooms inside the corridor. Our room was next to front desk, which works from 8 am to 8 pm. When girl came to work, she waked me up . They don’t have even sign with their name. You have to call the phone, which they provide and then someone will meet you outside. Disaster. Our room for 3 people was so small. Never again and don’t recommend to anyone.

It was very challenging checking into the property as it’s located on the 3rd floor with minimal signage. When we arrived door to the property was locked and I was afraid we wouldn’t even be able to get inside to our prepaid room. Luckily a hotel employee showed up 10 minutes after we were standing around.

location is very close to main street, but entrance is horrendous. makes the slums feel like the ritz. horrible run down dark and dodgy entrance hidden away with 100 step or lift with many confusing buttons. noisy air conditioning units, run down deserted property view with hanging laundry and peeling graffiti walls. unsafe for young female solo traveller
