"This is a small, older (1957) home that has had the kitchen and bathrooms refurbished. The original footprint is basically the same. The master bath is tiny, but has lots of storage. The bedrooms have no dressers and one bedroom has no hanging space.The bathtub and shower are very slippery, we bring our own tub mat for these situations. The kitchen has the bare essentials for cooking and eating. The yard, like many in the neighborhood, has been allowed to go to tall weeds. The fence has shrubbery and climbing plants on it. Couldn't figure out how to get patio string lights on. Many outlets have just 2 prong plugs, hard to find places to plug in laptops and printers, we had to buy plug adapters. Next door neighbor was gone all night Friday night, put his dog out and it BARKED ALL NIGHT LONG! Solatube in bedroom makes it very bright. When looking for year built we discovered that it had been listed for rent on 4.17.25. We arrived May 25. Lucky for us no one had rented it yet. Parking was easy, neighborhood quiet except for dog Friday night. Worked for us this trip."

"Townhome is located near Kaiser Hospital. The "community" is located within small-road neighborhood but the quick surrounding area does not feel safe as there are MANY people roaming at night(very sketchy). The host texted the code for the "gated" community, but that gate does not lock throughout the day or night. Anyone can come and go as they please, so it was pointless. The community itself is poorly kept. I saw kids and even older adults littering the community. At night there were many get-togethers/parties going on outside. Walls are thin so it was very loud. There were gunshots heard some nights.The home itself: the back sliding door does not lock &is sealed "locked" with a wooden stick. Does it work, sure. But that's not very professional in my opinion. The lower level was cooler than the 2nd floor (our stay was during June). 2nd floor takes a while to cool down. The rooms don't have curtains so all 3 rooms were very hot during the day. The rooms could use more pillows. The master closet could use a light in there. The post is misleading saying the 2 bathrooms offered bathtubs when there is only one full bathroom and a half bathroom. The dishes in the cabinets were not thoroughly cleaned (smeared with grease on some dishes and crud on others). There could be more seasonings offered in the cabinet. The couch was not cleaned (looked in the cracks and under the seating to find candy wrappers and water bottles that didn't belong to us). I really wanted to like the place."

"This house was exactly as listed. It was comfortable and nicely laid out. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything you might need. The beds were especially comfy, and the air conditioner worked perfectly over a very hot weekend! I would definitely stay here again!"

"We booked this property for a work trip but left immediately upon arrival. We encountered significant police presence, individuals on sidewalks with shopping carts, and open-air activity in a vacant lot nearby. Some in our group felt unsafe and refused to stay. The management company offered to relocate us immediately but after this experience our party did not trust their descriptions of properties. They refused a refund and stating that "police activity is common in Sacramento". If safety and neighborhood environment matter when booking, we strongly advise researching this location before book."

"This house is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood of Sacramento. No one will say the Fruitridge area is a tourist area, but it was a wonderful stay for us as a jumping off place to visit family and have a nice time, or just relax in the backyard. What most impressed me about the Mamma Llama house is how well stocked it was with coffee pods, towels, kitchen appliances and such. And very comfortable. "
