Motel is close to the interstate and has a bar and grill next door. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Lobby and room were clean and neat. The hallway to the room had a musty mildew smell to it. Shower pressure was adequate but weak. TV and Air conditioning were both working well.

4/10 Poor

I have medicine I need to refrigerate. When I got into the room, the refrigerator was not plugged in and it was difficult for me to access. The staff came immediately and plugged it in. I asked how long before it was cool and was told 5-10 minutes (I knew it would take much longer). Hours later, before retiring for the night, I checked the fridge - warm and did not appear to be running. I kept my medicine on ice. Breakfast the next morning - they had waffle mix/makers, bread and toaster, 3 different kinds of cereal, apples and yogurt along with orange and apple juices, lemonade, water, teas and coffee. The apple juice appeared to be be some additive to a concentrate - no apple taste at all. Orange juice was very sour. Not very happy with these aspects of my stay

The pool was under maintenance so we couldn't swim. There was only one guy working and most of the time we couldn't find him or had to wait at the desk forever. He was friendly. Breakfast was good.

Who else chooses a hotel based on a pool and a breakfast provided? We have 5 children and they request a pool every time. Think about how disappointed they were when they couldn't swim because the pool had bugs in it and was cloudy. It didn't look safe to swim in the pool. Also, at breakfast the coffee machine didn't work and the pancake maker was broken. Unfortunately the the ice machine was broken too. They need to get better management or they are going to tank.
