The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. The shower was hard to get to run hot and then it kept going cold. Breakfasts are fresh and beautifully cooked by Richard. I was on my own and the only pesrson in the guesthouse, the first night. I picked up my card key from the porch, no one there to welcome. It would have been a nice touch if there had been.

Was lucky to have a room upgrade. Julia on reception was lovely, helped me carry my bags to the room, which was enormous. Nice selection of tea/coffee and biscuits. Would definitely stay again.

Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely. Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful. Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.
