As a first time Miami visitor, Tropics was the perfect, budget-friendly hotel to lodge with. The staff accomodated every need. The patio and kitchen were well maintained. The pool was super convenient. Washing machines are a great addition when you reach the end of your trip. And the art deco vibes were a nice touch. Will definitely consider this hotel again.

Great hotel in a great location! It was nice and clean and very very accommodating to our stay. For a more transparent review I’d realistically give it 4.5 stars because it is a very noisy hotel but that is the only complaint. You can hear everything that’s going on in all the rooms next to you and above yours. But noise from the outside is very minimal and they had phenomenal black out shades. Thank you for the nice stay!

The bathroom door would not close and we had to ask for towels and toilet paper to get by. The air conditioning was good and so was the bed but the outside carpet doesn’t smell the best. It’s located in a good area but needs some work.

The staff was very nice and the guys working there were askingme every day if I need something, they make my stay vey confortable, the room was very calm and very clean, the hotel is near everything, the beach is at 100 m ocean drive is at 8 mn Lincoln Road as at 10 mn, the pool was wonderful. Of course I will return here next year

This property was a really great stay! I loved the location, the amenities (especially the pool), and the room space. It was perfect for solo traveling. I felt safe within the hotel and the surrounding areas on Collins Ave. I definitely recommend to those looking for an affordable stay with a classic ”art deco” feel.
