Our accommodations (Superior Suite #8) overseeing the reserve had a phenomenal view of the river and nearby mountains. All the staff were kind, helpful and nothing was an issue to them. We had read reviews saying the food was good but we were pleasantly surprised with how good! Every meal we had was great, especially as we were lucky enough to have braai for two evening meals."Reviewed October 9, 2026Roundtrip • Portland (PDX) - Hoedspruit (HDS)PDX - HDS • 3 stops HDS - PDX • 3 stops$5,701$4,707found 1 day agoper traveler - Ukanyi Luxury Villa - All Inclusive

Everything was more than perfect: The daily timing, The service level, very proactive and always with smiles, The food quality, excellently prepared and cooked, Amaizing facilities in a less amaizing location, The strong expertise of the guides and their way of life. Thanks to the invisible staff who makes invisible any default. Thanks to the management who makes all above possible. PS: the games were all an unforgetable experience and a flow of emotion. Can’t tell all we could see,...

Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit, A Verified Net Zero Hotel
Radisson Safari Hotel Hoedspruit, A Verified Net Zero Hotel"Very nicely appointed rooms and a big walk in shower, separate from the tub. The main lobby was beautiful, restaurant is very nice. They also offer room service. There is also a nice spa on campus, but we did not have time to investigate. Breakfast was included, the hotel offers a lovely buffet. Also noticed after the fact, that I did not receive the 20% off a restaurant order offered through Expedia for Key members. I would stay here again."
