“Fantastic place to unplug for a while. There is no cell service, which makes it even better. The room had a fantastic view. The lodge was cozy and warm. The hemlocks are walking distance. The place is a breath of fresh air. The only issue we ran into was that the room had no trash bags - we checked every drawer and cabinet. ”

The interior of the One of A Kind (OOAK) art gallery in Micaville, NC. With a slogan of “fine, folk, and funky”, this place embodies Appalachian art and culture-- down to the very building it stands in. When Micaville was a mining town, this building was the general store.
