"This hotel is really wonderful. I assume it has been fully renovated as the decor and furniture were in excellent condition. We had a lake view which was beautiful. I highly recommend this place! It’s walkable to everything in this small, quaint town. Easy access to restaurants, shops, and marina.
Note to those coming in from US: there are two border stations if you’re coming up from the east side of Glacier. One is off highway 89 (Piegan-Carway). The other is off highway 17 (Chief Mountain). The Chief Mountain station has limited hours. We got there and it was closed. We didn’t realize there was another border crossing (thanks, Google maps!) so we thought we were “locked out” of Canada for the night with no place to sleep. Having no cell service at Chief Mountain, we drove back to St. Mary to see whether they had any available rooms. The reception desk there was kind enough to explain about the other crossing at Piegan that is open until 11pm. Crisis averted! "

"Loved it! Clean and very comfortable. Easy walking to what there is in town. We kept the bath fan on to drown out the other guest noises. Our only small issue was the back window needs a room darkening shade. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again!"
