### Beautiful, Aislado Hermosa cabaña frente al lago en 62 acres, natación, sauna

He estado fuera de este sitio durante dos años, ya que estaba en otros sitios, pero estoy muy feliz de haber regresado a Home Away en 2019\.   
  
Hay mucho más para agregar aquí, pero encontrará lo que necesita para tener las mejores vacaciones de su vida. Estará encantado con esta propiedad cabaña frente al lago.   
  
Acabo de recibir una cancelación del 5 al 8 de agosto, así que bajé mi precio por 100 por noche del 5 al 9 de agosto.   
  
También han bajado el precio en 100 del 12 al 16 de agosto.   
  
Esta propiedad aislada de 62 acres de agua y bosques es un paso atrás hacia la simplicidad con innumerables comodidades. Nuestra cabaña es privada, a 14 pies del lago que lo invita a nadar, navegar en canoa y remar en nuestro nuevo kayak.  
  
Morning Mist Cottage ha estado en el negocio durante 20 años y sigue mejorando. El precio normal es de 349\. 00 para cuatro personas más impuestos. La cabaña y la litera pueden acomodar a 10 invitados u 11, dependiendo de cómo los huéspedes arreglen su sueño. Cada huésped adicional después de las cuatro es 10\. 00 por noche por huésped.   
  
Esta cabaña ha sido renovada con todas las campanas y silbatos; nuevos muelles, balsa de agua de 10 x 10, canoas con chalecos salvavidas, un nuevo kayak, leña, fogata al aire libre y Geo Dome, columpios y aventura en el bosque para niños. Mucho espacio para moverse y hacer en esta propiedad.   
  
El lago es bueno para nadar por lo general antes del primero de junio y se me conoce, como a los invitados, a nadar el fin de semana del Día de Victoria. Tenemos una hermosa balsa recién construida. Esta cabaña es exclusiva de Nueva Escocia con madera dura y pinos "nunca antes cortados" que se elevan a 80 pies de altura. La cabaña y la casa de literas se encuentran en un lote privado de 62 acres en el hermoso Lake Deception Shelburne County Nova Scotia.  
  
Ya sea que sea una persona soltera, un grupo, una pareja o una familia con niños, este magnífico retiro lo entretendrá y deleitará a todos.  
  
A solo veinte minutos de distancia se encuentran playas vírgenes de arena blanca que anuncian el sonido y el olor del agua salada que fluye con las mareas, el Club de Golf River Hills y la ciudad histórica de Shelburne que ofrecen excelentes restaurantes.

#### A gem of a retreat, 5 stars!! 

What a find! This beautiful property just north of Shelburne NS, in middle Ohio nestled away from the wide world on deception lake was an unbelievable find. The last property on the winding road you a greeted by view of the lake and wonderful wrap around deck. The cottage was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and allows you to be removed from the world with all the comforts of the modern world. A beautiful fire place, two outdoor fire pits, Warf onto the water and sand beach. Weather you are relaxing in the Sunna or Hot tub, out on the lake on the kayaks or canoe or in the lake swimming. Everything about this place is about convivence and class. From the specular sunrise in the morning and sunsets at night. I highly recommend this property for your next family or personal getaway. I know I will be back to misty meadows.

#### Lovely peaceful secluded location 

Very quiet cabin by the lake. Lots of water sport equipment was provided. Very clean and cute. Looks just like the pictures. Friendly host was at the cabin when we arrived. My one pup was obsessed with the chipmunks. We also saw quite a few deer and ducks. Hubs saw beavers. Husband tried out the sauna and said it was top notch. Great little compound for a family gathering.

Everything was awesome. Absolutely beautiful property with lots of privacy. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the lake. The water was beautiful but the lake was very shallow. Even in the middle of it we could stand up and touch the bottom. Everything else was great. We all had. Ablast

#### Lovely lakehouse

Beautiful spot, very clean and comfortable. Property is secluded and surrounded by lake and forest. Very peaceful. Shelburne is about a 15-20 min drive, for groceries and anything you may need. Stayed with my teen, tween, husband, and elderly parents. We were all very comfortable and happy to spend time together in such a nice spot. Photos are very accurate. Maybe bring water shoes as the lake is a bit rocky, but shallow for any little kids. Pauline was a great host, easy to communicate with.

#### Amazing Family Getaway 

Beautiful cottage and property. We totally enjoyed the private and peaceful setting. The lake was perfect, Such a great place to rest and enjoy nature. We saw five deer in total, a mother and two babies swam across the lake. Beavers at dusk, squirrels and a couple of bald eagles. We would highly recommend Morning Mist as a must go to vacation site. The cottage name Morning Mist lives up to its name. A truly 5 star cottage.

#### What the doctor odered.

This place is amazing. Pictures really don't do it justice. So clean, inside and out. The gardens and bird feeder attracted the hummingbirds. The view!!!! The dock!!! All 10 of us felt the stress melt away. We swam in the lake. You might need water shoes if your not use to rocks for a ways in. The canoe and kayaks were alot of fun. The kitchen and dinning table fit us all. Everything you need. We used the propane fire pit and the bbq. Thank you for all the propane. We had a chance to have a wood fire. Thank you for all the fire wood too. The town of Shelburne is not a far drive. Lucky for me I had others do the errands while I sat on the dock. lol. No one wanted to leave. It must be gorgeous in the fall.

#### Perfect family vacation

We are so lucky to have found Morning Mist cottage. Our family of 5, along with our friends family of 5 plus their dog have just had the best 4 days enjoying this little piece of paradise. The lake was so private, and Pauline provides multiple kid/adult kayaks,life jackets and a canoe. Definitely recommend bringing some big floaties to relax in,on the lake. The beach area near the dock was also great, and the dog loved the freedom to run around and go in and out of the water. We chose to sunbathe on the huge deck, it was so spacious and we all had room to soak up the sun. The fire pit is huge and Pauline provides more than enough wood and supplies. We had one day of rain showers, but still enjoy the lake and the sauna was another perfect added touch. Our kids absolutely adored the bunkhouse! Another piece of the great character of this property. Inside the cottage, we had everything we needed. Clean, well stocked, spacious, and as advertised. Honestly, the photos don’t do this property justice. The sun rises on the water and we watched the sun set from the water/floating dock every night. 4 adults and 6kids and not once did it feel like we were cramped or needed space from each other. Pauline was very easy to communicate with and was very prompt at getting back to me regarding the one question I had. Adults and kids all agree, we had the best family summer vacation . We hope to be back again next year!

#### Wonderful Stay!

Our stay at this property was wonderful. The owner Pauline was responsive and super helpful. The cottage was so cozy and inviting; everything was clean and easy to find. The access to the water was so enjoyable and the sauna made for the perfect retreat. I would come back!

#### Birthday Getaway!

We booked this beautiful cottage online we were very pleased with the location, the cleanlines and the beautiful lake! It was a peaceful place for my daughters 25th Birthday! We swam,fished, went canoeing (don't tell anyone I fell in at the dock) and panicked until i was told to Stand Up lol). I would recommend this cottage to anyone! We made a lot of memories! #### Morning Mist Retreat

This is a beautiful property, we enjoyed the outdoor fireplaces, chairs, lights, etc. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen/living room is amazing. A great place for people to gather!!

#### Do not stay here

My family and I stayed here for a week this past august, lake deception is a perfect name for this cottage. Unsteady dock, broken mirror, broken sliding door, outside light hanging by wires etc the owner states a beach area on property well there isn’t one. Hard beds cheap hand soap. The list goes on. For the cost she charges you would expect higher quality. As people who have owned a cottage in the muskoka this cottage is not even up to par. Do your self a favour and find something better.

This place was beautiful and had everything we needed to be comfortable and have fun with friends and family. Really enjoyed the sauna and lake combo. The lake was perfect for swimming and canoeing. Location was quiet and private. Would love to go back!!

Pauline has created a comfortable and authentic Canadian experience with her lakeside cottage. The cottage is well provisioned and considered and unlike many rentals, feels like a home rather than a rental. Clearly she and her family have loved their cottage and you feel that, making it so much more special. The lake is gorgeous and the many areas to sit and relax are varied. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather so the various water toys and swimming platform were amazing. A really lovely property that created happy memories for my husband and I and our daughter and son in law who live in London, UK. If I were to invest in the property further, I would suggest an outdoor area that is protected from the rain and would offer a bit of shade during the day. Also - our prolific Canadian mosquitoes can be a challenge so having a screened in area for the evenings would be a huge benefit. We did love the gas fire pit in the evenings. The two canoes may also be on their last legs as they do leak. A couple of stand up paddle boards? These are merely suggestions but we had such a fabulous escape from our normal lives and hope to return again to this incredibly beautiful spot. Thank you Pauline!

#### Great family getaway!

Beautiful spot, very private and the lake will keep you from wanting to plan any outings. Pauline was great to work with and we will certainly be back. We were 9 people and it did not feel crowded at all with the kids in the bunkhouse.

This space had everything we were looking for. The cottage was delightfully cozy and infinitely comfortable, peaceful, quiet and had everything we needed. It allowed for quality time to come together with family and enough room to do our own thing too. Just lovely!

#### Spectacular location!

The location and outside space is incredible. We had so much fun on the canoes, by the fire, the kids loved the swings and porch. Very sweet cottage inside, well maintained and helpful host. Appreciated the fans provided during a heatwave! Thanks again.
