“Room was clean and with good heating, enough clothe hangers and shelves to put bags and things on. Kitchen was basic but not enough cutlery to share with other guests. Would be good to have hand dryer or paper towels in the toilet/bathroom. Otherwise very convenient location for entry into the Lake Pedder/Gordon area and close to Mt Field National Park.”

“This is a treasure trove of accommodation that will amaze you, the best and most special building of all my travels.It has a history of 130 years and has a garden of 13,000m2. The rooms are large and well-equipped. Surrounded by century-old trees and various flowers and plants for you to enjoy, we experienced the life of a farmer for the first time here.If you have time, the owner will show you how to feed her merino sheep and hens, as well as her yard.The host was very welcoming and we tasted……

“Located near the park entrance, instruction given for after hours check in but the assigned property is a bit tricky to find in the dark. Facility was great with kitchen, washroom with jacuzzi spa, and fireplace providing heating. Overall good experience staying in this cabin right in the Cradle Mountain National Park.”

“We’re staying in Deluxe cabin for 4, there is not hot water in both washrooms and kitchen. We found out at 5pm, which the reception was closed. We ran to reception and asked for help, a staff called their boss, and they offered us another room. It was disastrous to worry about having no hot water in such cold weather, and we were exhausted to ran back and forth between cabin and reception, as our house is quite far from the reception. I expect our room was ready and being checked, before……

“We stayed for one night and took dinner and breakfast. It is a great home stay sharing travelling stories with other guests and learning about heritage of the farm. It is good to enjoy home style foods, plus endless supply of Tasmania beers and whisky. The cottage and room is clean and modern. Stay there if you pass by the area. ”
