Doubletree milan review

The hotel was nice, clean, and easy to find. Service was great. The breakfast was also very very good. Overall a great property near the the airport. Glad we stayed there.

We liked the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the whole hotel. It would have been nice to have either a pool or lounge chairs in the courtyard so that you enjoy the sunshine, since there really was nowhere to walk.

I called the front desk because I could not find the hotel shuttle pickup point they spent time with me until I was finally picked up. The pickup point in hotels.com was not correct. In terminal 2 the directions say to be picked up under the pharmacy sign. The actual pickup point is between arrivals and departure gates in front of the bank

Don’t stay here

Don’t stay here. Staff are horrible and so unhelpful. Wanted to end our lovely Italian holiday in a nice hotel the night before we flew home and it was by the far the worst we place we stayed at our entire holiday - no hospitality whatsoever. Room service food was also disgusting (still frozen at the bottom of the bowl).

I scheduled a shuttle ride night before for 11:00 in the morning, we had to wait 2 hrs until it came to pick us up. When made request they never bring us what we asked for. Cookie Monster is disappointed

Everything was great….except major disappointment with no chocolate chip cookies! Restaurant food was excellent but service was extremely slow. We had to ask 3 times for bread and took close to an hour to get it. Also limited airport shuttle service. Hotel had to call for a taxi service. We picked this hotel purposely for the shuttle service

The front desk staff appeared to be giggling, uninformed, uninterested and unable to provide assistance when requested. We were provided with a handicapped room. We made both a written and an in-person reservation for the shuttle. When I arrived in the lobby with my bag the shuttle was loading and then it pulled away without us. I had to tell the desk clerk to stop it. Then I found out it was leaving because it was filled with a passenger who didn’t have a reservation and that the desk claimed they had no record of either reservation.

The greeting at our check in was less than good, this location was our 2nd stop. We were taken to your other Milan location first. Not being native speakers, we were taken to the Doubletree, then figured out it was the wrong location. The first location was very apologetic and helpful. Especially knowing we were tired and from the travel. They called us another cab and gave a cookie and water and sent us on our way. When we arrived at the correct location, the young man and woman decided to speak Italian and laugh and giggle at what seemed our expense. A very uncomfortable feeling ..... I will go back to choosing other branded properties as I do not get treated like this. Even Thou this property was clean I rate this experience as POOR.
