Beautiful and unique house in a beautiful setting

The house is beautiful, and one of the most unique and homey places we have everything stayed. Very spacious with lots of artwork, and arts and crafts style woodwork. The view of the sound is so serene. We enjoyed very much sitting out on the porch and gazing at the water and the passerbys, and taking walks along the sound. It has everything you need and then some. Thank you so much for sharing your gracious and beautiful home with us!

College graduation weekend

We had a magical stay in this truly enchanting home the beds were comfortable. The kitchen well equipt for entertaining a large crowd. The fire place and piano were the backdrop for many intimate moments. The gardens were beautiful with azaleas and many perennials. The location directly across from the beach allowed for many walks and playtime together and the waves sung us to sleep at night. We would love to make a new family tradition for visiting here again and again.

Excellent location near family wedding.

Great spot for family, grandparents to grandchildren. Wonderful house dating to 1910. A New England classic on the lovely Connecticut shore.

Wonderful large house right on the beach

Fantastic large rambling house perfect for having a family reunion. The location is fantastic as it is right across the street from the beach. Our host Debbie was very responsive and gracious. We would definitely stay here again!

Right on the Beach and fabulous views

A perfect getaway and the beach isn’t crowded because there’s no strip of stores, just private homes. Quiet and beautiful.

Beautiful spot and great house

The house was much bigger than expected. It was clean and well stocked. The location is beautiful. My family had a wonderful time. I’d highly recommend this house for family gatherings.

Great Stay with an accommodating host

The weather was unfortunately uncooperative however the house is wonderful to still allow for personal space. The host was super attentive to any needs or concerns we had. We will be returning next year.

Lovely house

We loved staying at this house. The elevator was important to me & was perfect for my arthritic knees. The house had so much character & the views were outstanding. A lot of time was spent on the front porch looking at the amazing view of the sound. Definitely will stay here again.

Close to the beach

We loved the house. Great for multifamily visit. Property is right across the road to the beach. The beach was never busy, as it were our private beach. Deb was a fantastic host. We will be staying again for sure

An amazing weekend!

Debbie was an incredibly responsive and accommodating host and the house is wonderful. It’s large with plenty of space and bedrooms, and you can’t beat the gorgeous views with the water a few feet away! The house has everything you need, and is one of the best vacation properties I’ve stayed in. You’ll truly feel like you’re at home away from home. We’d definitely stay here again!

One of a Kind - Great Stone Home

The house and location are a 10. Beautiful home with easy access to beach, stores, and restaurants. Our family loved the space, piano, ping pong table, great porch beach view, and walks along the shore with big beautiful New England shore homes. Family would like to return next year.

Wonderful stay with family

We had a wonderful vacation with family at Deborah’s gorgeous home. We enjoyed all of the amenities including the ping pong table, the front porch overlooking the sound, the side walk chalk and doll house for the kiddos, and the upstairs deck. Beds were firm, but comfortable and the bedrooms overlooking the sound were fabulous. Can’t beat the location directly across from the beach and the architecture of the home is stunning. Overall a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend!

Reunion gathering

Great house and beach a few steps away ! We loved all the neat rooms and it’s overall character. Plenty of space to spread out Quiet neighborhood and beautiful view Stairs a bit creaky but fine as we all wanted to get up together and spend as much time together as possible after 30 years Ping pong a bonus !
