“We were beyond happy with the cleanliness of the property and the accuracy of the description. Everything was as described - they even had a crate, dog bed and bowls for our pup. We had ample supplies - plenty of towels, basics and even charcoal for the grill! We will be going back.”

“Very private location. Even waterfront is very personal area with a short ride to lake by boat. Good areas to explore by kayak too. Camp is comfortable and clean. Local town has low quality grocery and the Walmart has no grocery at all. It is ok for a meal if you forget something but if you want to cook nice I suggest to bring food with you. Highly recommend property and owner is great at quick response if needed!”

“The setting of this property is stunning. Located on a small hillside within tall cypress and oak trees, you have an elevated view of the lake from the front porch. The interior pictures don’t do it justice. The exterior photos live up to their expectations and more. The house isn’t brand new, but it is well maintained, clean, and inviting. We utilized this property as “base camp” for a long weekend of kayak bass fishing. It was a great location to access the water easily and is nearby to...

“Dog-Trot Cabins are my favorite homes. This was my first time getting to stay in one and it did not disappoint. The property is beautiful and all the animals around are spectacular and the owner is very funny and super friendly. We also opted for the hearty breakfast, served to us in our cabin, and it was delicious! If we find ourselves passing through in the future, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!”

“This is very unique property. The pictures seem like you are camping alone, but they are all together in a compound. We stayed in the Safari tent and LOVED IT! The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of their family land. We want to come back and spend more time and cook in the community kitchen.
