I very much appreciated the personal welcome, not just receiving access codes via a text. Janet, the manager, was very welcoming and exceptionally friendly. The room and the house were clean and had a warm flowery scent. I was lucky to have been given a room with a direct view to the sea. This made it even more pleasurable to sit in the armchair and drink my morning coffee and night drink. Should I visit Oban again, I would definitely try to get a room at the Hamilton Guesthouse again. Thank you so much.

The room was a bit on the small side but adequate for one night. The hotel is in an excellent location next to the river and very convenient for the Armadillo and the Hydro. Both dinner and breakfast were very good. All the staff we engaged with, particularly the young man at reception, were very friendly and helpful.
