Great Mt Rainier vacation spot
Our week at the comfy and cozy Mountain House was a fantastic getaway with our pets. The house has everything needed for outdoor activities, cooking, and relaxing. The location is really close to the National Park with lots of great hiking trails and amazing scenery. The hot tub is a luxurious treat, rain or shine. April is quick to respond to all communications and a really gracious host. We look forward to a return trip.

Wonderful spot
We've stayed here before and came back for a reason; great location for hiking/snowshoeing and access to the park, always clean and the hottub is a great treat at the end of the day. We have dogs too and the fully fenced in property makes the stay even nicer.

Great location to explore Mt Rainier!
Well equipped house in convenient location close to Ashford made this a perfect choice for us. Soothing hot tub after hiking, great communication from owner, nice decorating touches, peaceful neighnorhood with private lake to swim in...would definitely stay here again. Thanks, April!

Amazing house in a perfect location!
This is our second time staying here. This house has all of the amenities you could ever need, including a hot tub, games, water toys for the lake across the street, fire pit, barbecue, tupperware, spices and toiletries. It is very well set up and it is only five minutes away from the Paradise entrance of Rainier national Park. Host answers questions very quickly. Highly recommend a stay here!

Perfect tucked away home I stayed at during my Washington stay visiting Mt Rainier. This was the second leg of my stay in Washington coming from Beaver with my girlfriend. April was super communicative with me before and at the start of my stay. The home came with everything needed for us to stay comfortable. Actually overslept our initial desires both Saturday and Sunday due to the level of comfort. The house does not come with air conditioning BUT with the windows open it was manageable. Service is sketch but April provides wifi for occupants to look up their next trails/ activities for the next day. Kitchen was stacked with everything we needed to cook and prepare food. The freezer has ice for your drinks, water, or when you need to apply it to a rolled ankle. :) Kitchen had a bar top counter area where we spent most of our time recovering /prepping. Restroom was a shower /bath, stacked with abundant towels, wash clothes, and community shampoo/body wash. Came with a second bedroom we didn’t use as well as a living room area we didn’t use but both looked comfortable. Bigger bedroom was adequate space and the bed was comfy enough for us to oversleep like previously mentioned. There’s a available jacuzzi in the back with privacy. The fence line is shared with the neighbors but it was not an issue. The jacuzzi worked great, felt great, and didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend after a hike. April’s hosting was superb. I’d stay here again.

We had a lovely Mt Rainier getaway. The location is beautiful and very comfortable. And after a day of hiking a relaxing soak in the hot tub was the perfect end to our days.

Not only is the location great on this cute house, but the owners have done a remarkable job ensuring the niceties you may want/need are available to you as well. We had a short stay, but didn't need anything not found. And the hot tub was the perfect addition after many miles of mountain hiking! The communication was great as well. We would definitely stay again!

Well furnished home for a loving family vacation!
Our family stayed in the Mountain home recently and everyone in our family have been super impressed all the things this house has to offer. BBQ grill, Fire pit, Hot tub, well equipped kitchen, Kayaks for my kids to enjoy in the picturesque lake nearby...it had many things and these things are enough for everyone in my family to have a loving vacation. And its quite near Mt. Rainier to go explore it. Our family would love to go back to stay in this wonderful home! Five stars! Perfect relaxing getaway
First off the property owner April was great!!! The house was exactly as listed but even better. Location was perfect & peaceful. This home was spotless. I felt like i was at home it was so cozy it had everything. Even to go coffee cups, firewood, kids plates/toys/step stool. There is nothing she didnt think to add to this rental, including noise machines and flash lights in every room. We live in a "cookie cutter" type neighborhood so it felt so free to have the front gate locked and kids come and go out into yards as they pleased. Garage was fully stocked (including fishing poles) and the evening before heading home my husband taught kids how to bait a hook w a worm and fish at the pond/swimming hole literally steps away from front door. We are blessed to get away on several trips a year and this was by far one of the best experiences ive had. I cant find one thing to even complain about. It was Heaven! Im already planning our next visit to come back because there was so much to do in this location we just didnt have enough time to get it done!

This was a lovely house very close to Mt Ranier entrance. It is well appointed. Seems like the owner April thought of everything from flashlights to snow shoes. The hot tub is clean and very relaxing. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen has what you need for simple meals. Highly recommend this home.

Last weekend in Washington
We had an awesome weekend at the mountain house! The house has everything you need and it feels like home. Rainer’s paradise entrance is only 5 miles away! We enjoyed dinner in as well as out at a local spot. We really enjoying Mt. Rainer but walking around the neighborhood with all the local wildlife was also enjoyable. We are so glad we chose the mountain house as our last weekend. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

Amazing stay!!!
Our stay at the Mt House was amazing! We had the best time relaxing with the fireplace, games & the hot tub!! We took a trip up to the mountains for some snowshoeing (house has them there) and it was so fun. The house has everything you need for toiletries & kitchen items, there wasn’t one thing I needed that she didn’t have 😁 also the fenced yard was perfect since we have a pup & toddler. We definitely will be booking again! Hopefully do a Summer and Winter trip this year! Oh and the Cooper Creek Inn has some great food & amazing pie, not too far from the house!! Thank you for our lovely stay!

Lazy Weekend
Had the most Amazing time enjoying the Mountain house and it's amenities. Our husband's work massive hours with lots of over time all they wanted was a quiet weekend away to just sit by a fireplace and go or do absolutely NOTHING! That's what we did other than a short trip to the local coffee hut Rise n Grind and than stop by the local Pottery shop which was pretty interesting.. all 4 of us just had the BEST LAZY DAYZ WEEKEND and look forward to visiting again. Owners were helpful and easy to contact when the power went out due to a wind storm. We will be looking forward to staying again. Thank.you.

Great weekend getaway
My husband and I and our dog came out to this beautiful home to celebrate my husbands birthday. The house was spectacular, very clean and just like the listing portrayed it. We were greeted with a lovely card from the host welcoming us to their property and wishing my husband happy birthday. Had a wonderful time exploring out at Mt Rainier during the day and relaxing back at the home in the evening. Playing board games, soaking up time in the hot tub and star gazing was the perfect way to end the day. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again soon!
