“Great location for a visit to Lassen Park. Lovely view of the woods and stars and conveniently located off the main highway and within easy driving distance to Chester for groceries and restaurants. We loved the covered porch and grill and the adorable birds nests. The baby birds were super cute.”

“My family and I had a wonderful stay here. Christine was very accommodating. The place was clean, cozy and comfortable. The local grocery store is 5 minutes away and all the great parks, Shasta, Lassen etc are within an hour drive. We had a wonderful stay here. ”

“Easy 15 minute drive to the Northwest entrance of Lassen. Kitchen was well appointed. Bedrooms very comfortable. Colorful neighborhood. Nice living room to relax in. Could not get wall furnace to work, but we did not need it much as there were a few space heaters.”

“It has 2 bathtubs but it does not have a whirlpool tub and the blender is dull, the blades are not sharp, I could not make sauces or smoothies.”

Cozy and comfortable. Plenty of seating, pillows, blankets. Host readily available, friendly and helpful. Asked for extra towels and no hesitation providing them....

“The house had a nice kitchen and living space and the bedrooms were big. The problem was there was no A/C. They did have a swamp cooler which worked nicely in the downstairs but the upstairs bedrooms were hot and stuffy even with windows open and fans blowing. The master bathroom had a window pointing directly at the neighbors house and the window was not adequately covered so we never used the shower and bathtub in that room..”
