When i made a reservation, i requested a topmost floor in a quiet spot. I normally make this request because i have two autistic sons who are sensitive to people walking above us. Unfortunately, while checking in, i was informed that they were fully booked on the top floor. They gave me a room on 5th floor, and the manager on duty assured me that we were going to be alright even on lower floor, because their floors are concrete. We settled to sleep by 9pm because we were very tired. At a quater past midnight, we were woken up by residents who were right opposite our room. The were yelling on top of their lungs, possibly having a fight and one seemed to force the other one out of their room. My children looked startled and in shock. I opened my door and politely requsted them if they could tone it down for us. They got inside their room, but still continued to yell at each other, such that we could still hear them right inside our room. I tried to reach out to the front office twice but no one picked the phone so i went down to them. When i raised a complaint, the front desk staff seemed to already know about this commotion. He told me that the police officers were already involved. I couldn't switch rooms because he said that they were fully booked. Long story short, we continued to have very disturbed sleep throughout the night. Those residents kept banging their door. The front desk promise to compensate me throught Expedia, but i am yet to hear from anyone.
