The staff is super friendly and ready to help with anything (e.g. tours rearrangement, transport arrangements etc.) Super eco friendly too! Great location in the town. "We were greeted at the door by staff when we arrived and were given a welcome drink. The staff person allowed us to relax on the sofa as she took our check in information and explained highlights of the hotel. Our bags were quickly whisked away to a safe location until our room was ready. Even though we were early, we were given a room almost immediately. This hotel is just wonderful! The grounds are immaculate and very natural. There are several trails around the property to explore. It’s close to downtown and convenient to local attractions. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the staff is attentive. Monteverde Lodge and Gardens is quiet and serene. Each room faces some natural feature and ours even has a little stream bubbling in front! We highly recommend this place. "

"Without a doubt the most incredible property I’ve ever visited. Our mountain(volcano!) view was jaw dropping, truly something I’ll never forget. The infinity pool and hot tub area enjoyed the same view! The restaurant is 5-star, truly a pleasure. The grounds are gorgeous and felt very safe; and don’t even get me started on the monkeys we watched from our balcony as they swung through the lush trees. Honestly I can’t recommend the resort highly enough. The only part that wasn’t amazing was the lack of A/C. We had a quite powerful ceiling fan over the beds that made sleep possible, but the bathroom areas could feel a bit moist. But then again I was visiting a rainforest in June, which is early in the rainy season, so I should have expected this. My fault, not theirs. Despite this, I cannot recommend this resort highly enough! I hope to stay there again in the future. "

"This is a simple and cute property in Monteverde, not far from the town (as long as you have a car). The staff is very friendly and helped us book all of our tours. The breakfast was also excellent. Our favorite part about the property were the animals we saw. Toucanets, hummingbirds, and lots of other small birds and mammals were roaming around - what a treat!"

"I absolutely loved this property. Food options were fresh and accommodating if needed. The town was 20 min away if wanted to do excursions or visit little mom and pop stores! Absolutely beautiful. The staff was wonderful! Very polite! Be aware if you don’t like bugs - this is not the place for you haha. Absolutely beautiful grounds! The hot springs pools are warm &. Healing. At least that’s how I felt every time I sat in them. I would highly recommend anyone celebrating a honey moon or just want to get away with friends for a chill vibe ❤️"
