Situated on the ground floor during a heatwave wasn’t great. We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened.
The young man who served us for the evening meal was very attentive and very polite which was nice to see. Not so the staff at breakfast.

Lovely Village location, and quaint accommodation.
I stayed in one of the rooms round the corner from the pub. It was a ground floor room with large bathroom.
Things to note:
No contact details in the room for reception / pub staff (same thing)
No Wi-Fi details - had to go to pub and wait until the barman was free to ask.
Only just enough toilet roll for one night for one person (not going to the pub to ask out loud)
No plugs near the kettle so had to plug it in on the floor by the door.
Food in the pub ok.
There was limited availability for my dates in the village but I have stayed in better near by for less.

"Booked a one night stay to avoid the hottest day of the year and it was absolute bliss! Room was pefect, had more than enough amenities and the size of the room...wow! Breakfast was lovely too. Really glad I chose to stay here. Will definitely stay again."
