We were there for three days and had a beautiful relaxing time. The facility was amazing. The only reason I didn’t give the place the highest rating was because the food was just okay.

Really clean, quiet and comfortable! Definitely will choose a “Yard9” hotel again!

The room and the view, the food, the private onsen, the kindness of the staff, everything was a dream so much so that we had booked three nights (giving ourselves three days to roam around afterwards) but we stayed three more nights. Highly recommended-

I have traveled and worked in Japan for 10 years. This hotel onsen is the finest I have visited. The baths are located in your room, in common areas and in private family baths. There is a very special bath just steps away from the hotel below a WATERFALL, that can only be described as HEAVEN ON EARTH. I will return for another week at this hotel in April. Thank you Expedia for leading me to this magnificent destination.

This place is literally heaven. It’s very luxurious. The staff is amazing. The food is impeccable. The chef literally changes the menu every day every morning every night. There are many hotels to choose from in the Kirishima area, but I selected Pulse Kirishima because it's only about a 5-minute drive from Kirishima Jingu, making it a great base for sightseeing. I highly recommend booking a room in the Renovated Wing. We stayed in a Superior Room, and it was well worth it.
