“We wanted to spend a few days hiking on Grand Mesa and this is the perfect location to do that! We could get to so many hikes from here, and it is completely private - which is usually the most important factor to us - so we had evenings all to ourselves (and the mule deer). The cabin is obviously the former family home of the owners. It has not been updated since the 1970s. While it made my husband and I have fond memories of our childhood, it was a distinct departure from the cleaner and more……

“We stayed for a week at this house on a bike tour with 10 people (seniors). There was plenty of room for us all to hang out, eat, and relax. The outdoor space was huge. The outside table was was perfect for breakfast and the pergola great for the evening. A big garage worked great for storing our bikes. And the location was very convenient for our rides. Sara was very responsive and easy to work with.”

“We had a great three nights here— during the day we either went exploring on the Mesa or went down to Palisade. we loved spending time on the deck looking at birds, sunsets, etc. So nice not to be in view of any other homes. The house was perfect for us. only suggestion would be to put a non-slip rug next to the bed in the master bedroom”
