Nice motel in a picturesque mountain town
"The motel seems to be freshly renovated, the room's spacious and clean. Excellent kitchenette for this kind of accomodation, very helpful as the only place to eat in town in the evening opens and closes as it's owner pleases. There's no breakfast, but they provide coffee and some snacks to go, which is nice. Checking in was quick, the lady at the counter quite pleasant.
There are train tracks running through the town, so when the train signals you'll hear it along with all the valley as the mountain echo amplifies it. Definitely not the motel's fault, but be prepared :)
My only real complaint is the soundproofing between the floors. We stayed for 1 night on our way to BC and then on our way back, and both times had a room on the ground floor. Every time we seemed to hear every step our neighbors upstairs were taking(the lodge has 2 floors). Both times our neighbors were more or less quiet, so no big deal, but still there's definitely a room for improvement there. "

"We were in Blind Bay for a family wedding and were so lucky to have this as our home spot for the weekend. The house was clean and welcoming. The views are amazing. Waking up to the gorgeous lake from the master, was unbelievable. Definitely a place you want to book!"

Perfect getaway
"Was a beautiful spot with a 4 minute walk to the lake across the street. The RV park had a great park for our 4 year old and everyone was very social. You will need to bring your own towels and bedding but don’t forget kitchen cloths and towels as well. The kitchen had enough dishes and pots etc but the spices were limited to salt and pepper. You’ll also need to bring oil or Pam. They had a few containers for leftovers and foil for us to use. The only thing I’d say is reach out to the owners as they’ll ask you to dump the grey water before you leave. Unfortunately we had already departed when we got that message. Also, the entrance is off the main Street. Google brought us to the entrance up top which isn’t correct. Look forward to coming back! "

"Kris' place was perfect for our family get together! It has lots of places to sleep, many quiet areas where people can have a moment alone, and quick, easy access to the water. The dock was perfect for SUPing, kayaking, swimming, and the various boats we rented. The kitchen was well stocked. Everyone (aged 8-78) had a great time, and the kids are already asking to go back to the lake next year. One note: the basement is spacious but fairly spartan, and not ideal for tall people. But it does offer some privacy from the rest of the house, and a second washer and dryer.Overall, highly recommended! "

"This cabin was such a great weekend getaway. It’s kept very clean and tidy, including the hot tub, which was an awesome bonus for chill time out on the serene deck. This cabin is well stocked with all the little things you need, and the bedrooms are comfortable and cozy. Would definitely stay again!"

"This was the most perfect cabin for what we were looking for . It is very clean , well stocked , decorated so beautifully and it’s very homey . It feels very private , has a big beautiful deck to hang out on that is looking out towards the lake as well as another small private deck upstairs off the main bedroom. It was very comfortable . There is nice sitting area with a fireplace onlooking thé lake and the hot tub is very nice and comfortable to sit in and has very clean crystal clear water . What an amazing little escape . "
