There is no doubt about it, Bliff House Inn sits on a beautiful piece of property overlooking parts of Acadia. The rest of Bluff House Inn leaves much to be desired. Unlike a typical inn, BH does not have someone at the front desk. It’s self check-in and basically self-service. If you’re just going there to sleep and plan to be away all day that works, but if you’re looking for a true inn with warm hospitality and breakfast provided (after Sept 30th), I would not recommend BH. Most of the restaurants near by were either not open or only open on the weekends, so we had to drive towards Acadia to find food. The groundskeeper was not friendly and offered no hospitality in the way of an inn. Next time we wil stay closer to Acadia.
