The hotel is very nice and will return sometime. My only problem was the cleaning staff missed an area in the bathroom, and when the desk was notified it was immediately resolved. They also gave me a different room, because the mattress was too soft for me and I was grateful for that. No one is perfect, and for various reasons things can and do get overlooked sometimes. I have no problem with the Sandman,they were kind and made right all discrepancies

Beautiful historic building but the wall in my room(536) is thin and could I hear everything the neighbours said. Fortunately mine were fairly quiet but if you had people who engaged in “late night activities” it could be bad. Also the bathroom had a slight sewer smell.

Cold rooms, had to change my room twice yet still cold, noisy air-conditioning, gym is not well equipped and cold. The swimming pool is horrendous. Not enough staff. This will be my last visit to any of this hotel chain.
