“We had a marvelous time in Macerino! Our hosts were most welcoming and attentive and probably the nicest people in Italy. Our accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, with the best beds we have slept on in the whole country. It was quiet and peaceful and remote, and that was part of the appeal. We did take day trips down the mountain to visit other cities for lunch, thus avoiding driving the mountain road after dark. We ate twice at La Fontana, and both times were an exercise in……

“The apartment is very nice and conveniently located near the Saint Francis Chapel. If you are driving to Assisi, it is better to park (Saba Giovanni Paolo II) in the public parking lot and walk to the apartment than to try and drive to the apartment. Driving is Assisi is very difficult and almost no parking near the apartment.”

“No breakfast or drink water avaiable upon arrival, i suggest to procure them before. No line cell without wifi that is into the house, i suggest to download the video to reach the exat position before arriving in the farmhouse. The garden is a little space behind the entance. Not recommended for many people due to the small bathroom. Beautiful the view of the hills and the peace. ”

“We loved everything about our stay. Todi is a picture perfect hill town with wonderful people and restaurants. The property was a short (but steep) walk to the main piazza where we had great meals and the best gelato just a short stroll down the main shopping road. We were so excited to stay in an 800 year old house. It is a special place and the back patio with its unbelievable view was peaceful and relaxing. We loved returning from our adventures every day to our little slice of heaven. What……
