I like the beach areas and the pool ambiance. The initial room we got was horrible way too small with nothing functioning TV or AC and it was like pulling teeths to get that changed. The food also terible we were wondering if it was a real jamaican chef cooking, a mean they could have hired a grandma from the streets and am sure she would put it down. We travelors as mostly in JA for the food but it was a disappointment not to mention the limited options. The best food we had was friday morning breakfast, go figure most people check in on friday like really. I really wanted to give them a try but i travel alot and i can compare to other hotels and no they are not a competition unless they make some changes.

Great location, but older property. The bathrooms needs an upgrade. The electrical outlets by the pool looked questionable, with rusty boxes and wires wrapped in tape but exposed. The food was just ok. The staff in the dining room and desk were really nice. The waitress by the pool was rude, I asked a question if tum cream was on the free list, and she fanned me off saying she didn't know, then just went and stood at the empty bar, making no attempt to help. I walked over and asked the bartender my question- it was included. Dont know if i would stay here again until its updated.

Second time staying here and I've stayed at many resorts all over the world. This is one of my favorites. Rooms were clean, grounds were beautiful and old plantation structures. Food was amazing. Check in staff was friendly and quick. They had fruit punch and rum punch at check in. The drinks were great.. one of the best daiquiri's I've had at a tropical location. It's a small local hotel but everything about it is authentic so if you want real Jamaican food this is the place to come. I love the beach, pool is good as well. Nice to plane watch as it's next to the airport. It was post storm so some mosquitoes, but it got better after a few nights. Service was typically good. Will definitely be back!!

I stayed here in July 2024 for my birthday. This place is nasty, I got bite by bedbugs and no one was understanding. The all resort didn’t have a microwave for me to use the TV. Didn’t work . Internet is some trash PLEASE DONT BOOK HERE the pictures shows one thing but the place needs updating!! Everything on the resort closes down at 11 y get me drunk for my birthday and nothing is open to do. Go to RIU they lit!!

This property was a complete disappointment and should not be able to be categorized as a resort. The grounds were subpar, the food was lacking in abundance and options and the dining hall was a complete sweat shop. There is only one pool area and it was not clean. There are flies and mosquitos everywhere! The rooms are out dated and have tiny bugs all over the dresser areas. The mattresses are hard. We had to shoulder bump our way out of the bathroom door because it was clearly not cut to the frame accurately. There were never sufficient towels or wash cloths. They even told us we had to wait for them to be washed. There is nothing to entertain you so you must choose an excursion off the property to entertain yourself. We checked out after the second day into a "real resort" to salvage what remained of our vacation (costing extra $$ of course). I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My boyfriend & I stayed 4 days at this resort. Drinks were nice & strong. There was a pretty good variety of food around the resort. The Beach Grill was my favorite. Staff was very professional (great attitudes and attentive). The Private beach was gorgeous and had some water-sports available. My boyfriend & I kayaked , they provide life-jackets which is great. Our room was clean, daily housekeeping and AC worked well. The only 2 things I would’ve liked was better/faster WiFi and perhaps an ATM inside the resort.

This was my first time in Jamaica my experience was so bad had to switch to a different resort during the middle of my stay would not recommend this place to anyone. However, the staff was completely nice and was a great help in a horrible situation.
