“Had a relaxing time at the Lake Front Cottege. It was so nice to wake up to see the lake every day & go kayaking when you wanted. Quiet neighbors & safe. Enjoyed patio fire at night. Clean kitchen. It has a you need in the kitchen. Has pillows& bed linens. We brought our own towels. Had dish soap, etc. Nice stay. Host was respectful & helpful”

“Planned for my Birthday and it was amazing! Very quiet and serial. Beautiful view of the lake. The cabin itself was very clean but the decks could have been a bit cleaner, full of spider nests on the windows and chairs. All in all still worthy of a definite 5 star. Was very enjoyable!”

“The cabin was exactly as advertised, both by Rene and by the reviews. The atmosphere was rustic, yet clean, comfortable and inspiring joy. I could imagine the fun Rene had and decorating. The large deck as an outside room overlooking the gardens and chickens,was a bonus for sunrise tai chi. While my arthritis and traveling body didn’t allow me to take full advantage of the hiking, The sound of the creek lured me as far as the bridge and was worthy of a sketch. The location was great as it was located equal distance from Asheville and Charlotte. The views from the deck were outstanding and a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while watching the ducks swim around. Our fur baby enjoyed the fenced in yard. “Thank you for renting your house to us! We appreciated the personal touches, and it was so quiet and relaxing. The entry process was smooth and easy. We visited serenity alpaca farm and the emerald hollow mine. Unfortunately yellow deli is closed on Saturdays because I has also wanted to try it. It was a fun whirlwind weekend and the kids really came out of their shells. Thank you again for hosting us! ”

“This is beautiful home with great amenities. Comfortable beds, nice linens, a well appointed kitchen. When the ad warns that you need an AWD or 4WD vehicle, pay close attention. The driveway is very steep and when we were there it was difficult getting in & out due to heavy rain. If you have the correct vehicle, or you don’t mind walking down the hill with your things, this is a wonderful place to stay. Manager was very responsive & helpful. ”
