"It was difficult to communicate with the owner or manager. I booked a 5 nights stay. I had a problem with the washer was approved. The cleaning staff couldn't make it work. We noticed the manager about the problem. They answered me on 4 days later. It was to late by then. We reused our old clothes and packed the rest of the dirty clothes home."

As a result, I spent 3 hours of my time on the hallway floor in the property from 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm at night dealing with Expedia customer support and finding and then navigating to a different property. I’ve stay at Minn Shin Osaka previously in 2019 and the property was much newer at the time. Check in process was problematic and stressful given the access codes given did not work and two 6 year old children needing to use the facilities after a long trip. "The entrance of the hotel took a second glance to find as it's a single door that when you look into, looks like garage. We had to walk inside, and then towards the back was the elevator to take us to the room. Instructions provided was quite clear so there were no issues with our room entry. Regarding the room, it was average, and is definitely more glorified in the stock pictures. My only complaint was the couch being lumpy to the point where you can feel the spring in the cushions. "This place was a brilliant home base while exploring Osaka and the wider Kansai area. While it's not on a JR Lin if you're using the JR Pass, it's a 5min walk from the closest subway line, so despite it looking far out it's actually really close. I loved having our own washing machine so we could do our own washing, and the room was easily adaptable to our needs with a heat pump and balcony for airing/heating.
