“When we saw the room was disappointing. In the description it said it has heating, but the only thing it had was a little heat fan. We probably wouldn't have taken that room (or hotel) if we had known it. By the way, our bathroom had a water leak (or it seemed it), but when we arrived at night we found a cockroach in the room and we asked for to change the room. Finally, they found that a pipe was broken. One last thing, the description said "free wifi" and it's true, but only 500MB. Nowadays...

“Our courtyard room was perfect for our 2 night stay and the hotel is situated across the road from the beachfront. The centre of Kaikoura where the main shops and restaurants are was just a bit too far for us to walk to but not a problem as plenty of parking available. Small onsite car park but parking available in street outside hotel if full.”

“ This motel is not fit for purpose. Our room was dirty. Carpets grubby and stained, duvet stained. Outside area full of detritus, and unfinished paving at the front of the room. The host had said that there were only 2 members of staff to clean all the units. The owner was on holiday. This accommodation was well below the standard expected,the photos online were misleading at best, and did not show the poor and dirty quality of the apartment. There were no other rooms available.
