The nature preserves such as the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and Mt. Coot-Tha in Toowong, give visitors an insight into the animals and plants that exist in the area. Leave the busy streets behind and spend some quality time outdoors in tranquil places such as Davies Park in West End, the Brisbane Botanic Gardens and the Redcliffe Botanic Gardens in Redcliffe.

Holiday makers visiting Brisbane should go and see the St. Stephens Cathedral, Tower Mill in Spring Hill and Skyneedle. The St. Andrew's Uniting Church offers travellers to Brisbane a chance to better understand the role religion has played in the area.
