Older hotel with large, clean rooms. They close and lock doors at 9:30 p.m. The price includes a limited, basic breakfast. It was a comfortable place to stay, about 5 miles from the ferry.

Furnishings were worn, broken, or simply not functional. TV only gets one PBS station. No elevator. Asked for an extra towel and told they only exchange one for one. No water glasses in room, had to steal two from the B'fast bar. Towel rack falling off wall. Undercounter refer not working so they put a mini-fridge on the scratched dining table. Dresser drawer broken, glides misaligned. Sofa looks like it came from a rummage sale. Been in better places for less than they charge.

Staff got us into a family unit which was perfect. (Traveling with my 90 year old father). We were able to work all the amenities. Old but clean. You can tell there is some pressure on finances. Pillows were old/flat, no dishwashing liquid, thermostat in my room was not in good repair (not usable). Continental breakfast is limited. They ran out of bagels. But the staff was friendly and amenities sufficient and the location great for our stay.

This is a low price option with friendly staff. However the furniture in the Villa Apartment was very old and extremely uncomfortable to sit on. Place needs a little bit of money put into it.
