Whether its ATV/snowmobile riding, or just getting away from it all, Riverside Retreat is in a great area to do it all! We will respect your privacy and let you enjoy your stay unless you contact us with any property issues or local suggestion inquiries. We are always available, this cabin is hosted by real people vs large property managers. Located just outside of Mountain Wisconsin, Riverside Retreat is a short drive to both Mountain and Lakewood. The house is nestled in the serene and friendly riverside area less than a 5-minute drive away from the Mountain town center. This lovely location offers a perfect getaway from the everyday hustle and bustle and big-city crowds while being just 2 miles from the park and ride trailhead. There are numerous outdoor activities that you can enjoy at any time of year here, such as fishing & ATV/UTV trails in the spring/summer/fall, and snowmobile trail riding in the winter. The trailhead is not directly accessible from the house. To access the trail, guests will need to use the park & ride located 2 miles away. Guests have full, exclusive access to the property. Including the House, Waterfront, Screened porch, Grill, Fire Pit, and Dock. The house was clean and comfortable. We loved the screen porch! The basement was perfect for game night and a movie night when it rained. Very clean, and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked. The scenery, and sound of the river from the screened in porch, and backyard was very relaxing. Very peaceful area. The location was very close to many fishing spots. The location on the river was fantastic and the area featured many opportunities to hike along with other outdoor activities. There was fresh wood pre-chopped so we fed the indoor fireplace all day- a dream! High quality kitchen amenities, comfortable furniture, and very clean space. Super impressed! We had 4 adults that rented this house. There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was very clean. The upstairs furniture was not very comfortable but the downstairs sofas were nice. It was perfect! Evey lounging space in the cabin was ideal for gathering and spending quality time together. The porch and backyard space was so relaxing, we spent most of our time just sitting outside listening to the sounds of the river. My now fiance actually proposed to me on the dock in the backyard and it was an absolutely perfect background for that special moment! The hosts are very friendly and responsive. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. The river was just lovely and a treat to listen to sitting by the firepit or screened-in porch. Cell phone reception was a bit hit or miss but wifi was available. It's a lovely cottage from the road to every room in the home. Furnishing are so "Up North" while being comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The lower level had a huge TV and a pizza oven. The three season room has a goregous view of the river and the sound to go with it. Your stress level decreases a 1000%.
