“We wondered what we had let ourselves in for on arrival. How surprised we were as our stay progressed. The breakfasts were supreme, the service with a smile by our host, David, wonderfully assisted by Allison. Nothing was too much trouble. A very pleasurable stay. A nice location for our days out and always a welcome home cuppa on our return. Lovely memories.”

“You'll need to manage your expectations if staying here. Its cheap & its cheap for a reason. Its not Travelodge style accommodation, but (I suspect) cheaply built and maintained block of approx 15 holiday camp type rooms in a working farm yard. I stayed in room 12 that had been recently painted & had a new carpet. Lovely hot shower, comfortable bed, working kettle. No towels supplied but i expected this from other reviews. & no breakfast despite plenty of signs saying B&B. I feel its...

Had a great welcoming from the owners on arrival with freshly baked flap jacks and lots of local knowledge shared. A book regarding the building was also an interesting read. “I did not got the door code/door key, for four nights I was taking all my stuff out and bring it back when I need to use room for night. When booking the room was different to the room I got, which was not great for me, not happy with the service that I got, lots of issue, basically it's a HMO building.”
