"Our family of 5 stayed at the cottage for two nights and we so wished we could have stayed longer! It is a beautiful log cottage, eclectically furnished and decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. We used both the hot tub and the sauna after a long day’s hike and loved the view toward Loch Ness. Highly recommend. "

"The best thing about our stay was the peace and quiet. The location is gorgeous - peaceful and picturesque. We were surrounded by highland cows and deer and there is even a little private lake on site that we took a rowing boat out on one day. There is a stream running through the park, a playground and a little bar/restaurant. The owners were really friendly and gave us great suggestions for walks in the area. "This hotel is right near the train station and taxi stands. Also near McGregor’s for traditional music and great F&C. Also get a proper scone and proper tea and cafe across the street."

"The hotel is a fantastic place to stop when working in Inverness. My two very slight criticisms are that the climate control in the rooms is super bright and being light sensitive, i found it disrupted my sleep. For the size of the hotel and the dact they have an on site Spa, the gym could be a bit better equipped. Other than that, the hotel, food and drink were excellent. "

"The hotel itself was great. We had thought there was a restaurant available for dinner but apparently there was not which was kind of a bummer after driving from Inverness and stopping at Balmoral Castle we didn't really want to go anywhere for dinner. The rooms were really big which was really nice. We stayed a lot of places so I can't really remember the bed comfort so I don't want to mislead anyone on that but they were by far the largest bed that we had and the pillows were comfortable. We couldn't find the area for breakfast although we didn't look all that hard since we didn't pay to have it included with our stay. It's not super close to the city center so it's quiet and it's a bit of a walk to get to City Center. But if you're looking for quiet this is the place. All in all it was a good stay and we'd probably go back."
