The hotel staff was not cooperating. I asked to cancel my room, because I didnt stay there, but they charged my credit card. A very nice hotel in a convenient location. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. A short walk from the metro (about 100m or so), which is just a few stops from central Munich. The local area is quiet. There are some nice bars / restaurants nearby, a convenience store and a small supermarket. The Englischer Garten (a huge park) is a short walk away. I stayed during Oktoberfest, so it was quite expensive at this time, but this is normal for Munich. Book early if you visit during this time. I would stay here again. Rooms were clean and comfortable. It is old fashioned rather than trendy, but that isn't important.
