Very pet friendly. Great seeing and listening to sounds of the river. Enjoyed seeing local friends and the Christmas season events in the area Great host as well
We had a great stay! Very pet and family friendly. One of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in at a vacation rental. Great memory maker location! Looking forward to returning.
We had such a relaxing time and the location was ideal for my husband to take a class at the Folk School while I worked from "home" with my little fur-baby. It was so nice to be right on the river and in such a nature-filled space. The master bed was also very comfortable and we had everything we needed for the week-long stay. Communication with the owners was also fantastic - super kind and helpful!
Stayed weekend to ride rail bikes in Andrews. Great independent restaurants in Murphy & Andrews! Locals nice! Owner very nice & communicative! Cudos on the decor!
This property was perfect for our family. The hosts were incredibly nice and accommodating. We loved the location and would definitely recommend this property.
The house was very nice and very pretty at night. The location was excellent and had lots of amenities. The owners are doing a wonderful job updating the property and it is beautifully decorated. I love the area and this was an excellent stay.
This was a wonderful location! We enjoyed everything about our stay. Bobby was super nice and helpful. We will definitely be coming back again at some point!
Would love to return in warmer weather, but even in cold and rainy December this was a great location. Kitchen was beautifully set up to work in, and the hosts were thoughtful and welcoming.
We loved our time at this beautiful river home. It was perfect for our family of five to get away and relax. The river was beautiful! We enjoyed the deck, sunning raft, hot tub, fishing, cornhole, and well stocked kitchen.
We took a day trip to Helen GA but otherwise stayed at home and enjoyed a quiet retreat.
The house was perfect for a relaxing stay on a beautiful river. The beds were comfortable, the decor was lovely and our granddaughter loved the little room upstairs. Having the tubes and kayak were a lot of fun! The only thing our trip needed was a few more days!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this VRBO located directly on the river. It was extremely beautiful and peaceful and clean. The host had great communication and went above and beyond to help accommodate us. You often see deer along the street leading to the house and is the perfect spot for time away to retreat. The river can have a strong current so be mindful if small children are with you. They do provide several life preservers for safety. The fire pit was great for making smores. We bought our own since we made a trip to the store but they also have wood available there on a honor system. They have plenty of room for sleeping and you just have to pay an extra fee for guests totaling more than 4 persons. Great spot if you like to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings with a scenic view!
"Enchanting stay! The sound of the river flowing just steps away was incredibly soothing, and the fishing/ kayaking access was awesome for our family. The separate lounging area upstairs was a hit with the kids, providing them space to unwind. Every room downstairs boasts stunning views, making mornings truly magical. Having firewood readily available was a nice touch for cozy evenings by the fireplace. We also appreciated the warmth of both the neighbor and the community of Murphy (our first time in Murphy). However, it's worth noting that there's no bathtub for soaking after a long day, and the washing machine didn't quite spin clothes dry as expected. Despite these minor inconveniences, our stay was unforgettable!
When we initially booked this home, we were concerned about the Steps to enter. However, Bobby said they were considering putting in a ramp, and to our pleasant surprise, the ramp was installed to the back door. Very easy to now bring luggage up to the home. The paved driveway was wide enough for a nice turnaround, in fact the driveway was considerably better than the public paved drive coming down the road. The yard was just beautiful with charming lights, and outside swing, a firepit and a hot tub, and lots of nice deck space including a grill. It was in the high 80 and low 90 during our stay, so we didn't utilize this beautiful space. The main living area had two low seated leather couches and easy access to the decks, a large television and a nice ceiling fan. There was an area that I believe was the old dining room that was now set up with a murphy bed and just outside the main downstairs bathroom, which was very convenient to those who didn't want to be in the roomy upstairs.
The primary bedroom was extremely comfortable, in fact the MOST comfortable bed in any rental I have been in, it sat a little high for me, but my husband was fine getting in and out. There were plenty of quilts and blankets and flannel type sheets. I did suggest to Bobby that having a nightstand with lights for both sides of the bed would be a plus, and he said he would take care of that. The primary room was large and could easily have fit a computer desk. The kitchen was so cute. Great Home.
Well appointed, comfortable home.Host was very attentive. Close to town and restaurants.Loved the big swing in back with huge tree for shade and listening to the water flowing down the River.
Hosts were extremely nice. The location was perfect for our quiet weekend. The house was clean, hot tub was great, and had a beautiful view of the river that was an underhand toss away!
We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay at this lovely home. The host was easy to communicate with and provided many extras, such as plenty of toilet paper, kitchen trash bags, Tide pods, a wide assortment of coffee and teas and a free bottle of wine. My 14 year old grandson kayaked in the river everyday. The location was close to town, making it easy to get provisions at Ingles and Walmart. My 9 year old granddaughter was sad to say goodbye to the house and informed me she wants to buy it when she grows up:)

The property itself was great. However, after several text from the host, it became evident that I was being watched on outside cameras the entire stay. It made feel uneasy from that point forward. I was text to restart the modem because he knew the internet was off. The power had gone out and that's why the internet wasn't on. The docks on the property were questionable at best. The inside of the house was very well thought out. Check out was 11 am and someone was already on the property before 11 on the day of check out. So, I have mixed reviews on this particular property. There is a fine line between helpful and being stalked by the way of outdoor cameras.
