Great location and beautiful property. They seemed understaffed and the staff was stressed and out of breath and dismissive. I had two children in strollers and requested a bottom floor, they asked if there was another accommodation I would like even though they were fully booked. There was children’s bikes advertised as an amenity which they did not have available and the man seemed very confused when asked about it. I would stay here again for the convenience and size of the rooms, but without the expectation that I could rely on high quality service or children’s amenities.

We bought a combo ticket for this museum along with the Bayeux Tapestry. My 16 yr old and I enjoyed both museums. We thoroughly enjoyed the Battle of Normandy museum. We are both history nuts and like to read in museums. This museum has tons of info to read and takes you through D Day week by week along with pictures & artifacts. The museum takes a two hr lunch in the afternoon. I wish we had paid attention to that as we had to leave and would have enjoyed another hour.

The little white tourist train goes by the Tourist office, the Cathedral, and the Museum for  small fee.SInce the museum is on the edge of town, we enjoyed the train.
